What each list means and where it comes from.
Announced and listed
An announcement gives the date an exchange plans to open trading. A coin counts as listed once its market actually trades, read from the exchange's own market list.
First seen on CoinGecko
CoinGecko adds coins after its own review. The date is the day the daily check first found the coin (for coins added before the check began: the day of its first price on DefiLlama), not the day the token was created.
New DEX pools
age < 72h · liquidity ≥ $50KAnyone can create a token and a trading pool. The filters remove most spam, not scams: treat every new pool as high risk.

Where the data comes from and what it means.
Every hour the site reads the public spot market lists of Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Bybit and Kraken and compares them with the previous check. A coin that appears and starts trading is a new listing; a market that exists but does not trade yet is upcoming. The exchanges' own listing announcements (Binance, OKX, Bybit, Kraken, KuCoin, Bitget, Upbit) MEXC's listing calendar and Gate's scheduled market openings add project names, trading start times and links to the official post. A listing stays under Upcoming until its start time, then moves to Just listed.
New on CoinGecko lists coins added to CoinGecko's coin list in the last 30 days, without tokenized stocks, leveraged tokens and bridged copies of existing coins; the table shows the most traded ones of each period. Prices and volumes come from CoinGecko, with DefiLlama as a fallback. New on DEXs shows decentralized exchange pools from GeckoTerminal that are less than 72 hours old and pass basic checks for liquidity, volume and number of buyers.
Nothing on this page is a recommendation to buy or sell. New tokens can be very volatile, and some are scams. Check the exchange's own announcement before you act on a listing.

It changes every hour. Just listed shows the newest spot markets on 10 major exchanges, and New on CoinGecko shows the coins CoinGecko added most recently.
Upcoming listings shows coins an exchange has announced but not opened yet, with the start time in UTC when the exchange gives one. Some markets are created before a time is set.
Exchanges usually announce listings hours to days ahead. This page reads those announcements every hour and also checks the exchanges' market lists, so unannounced listings show up too.
An ICO, or initial coin offering, sells a new token to the public before it trades on exchanges; a presale works the same way. This page lists coins once they are announced or trading and does not endorse any sale.
Nobody can know that in advance, and this page makes no picks. It reports listings from public sources. Many new coins lose most of their value after launch.
On the exchange that lists it. Each row names the exchange and links to its announcement. Check that the exchange serves your state before you open an account.
