About these rates

Where the numbers come from, and what they leave out.

Each coin’s price is the last trade on one major exchange (Binance first, then OKX or Coinbase; DefiLlama for coins they don’t list), converted to US dollars and refreshed every few minutes. Currency rates are daily reference rates, mostly from the European Central Bank.

The amount you actually receive depends on your exchange’s spread, trading fees and network fees. Use this converter as a reference, not a quote.

About this page

The cryptocurrency converter turns an amount of a coin into US dollars, euros, pounds or nine other currencies, and back again. It covers the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap. Popular pairs such as BTC to USD, ETH to USD and SOL to USD sit under the converter, and a conversion table lists common amounts at the current exchange rate in both directions.

Each coin's price is the last trade on a major exchange, Binance first, then OKX or Coinbase, with DefiLlama for coins none of them lists. Prices refresh every 5 minutes. Other currencies go through their rate per US dollar, taken from Frankfurter, which carries European Central Bank reference rates, and from open.er-api.com. Those rates are set once per working day.

Treat the result as a reference, not a quote. What you receive when you sell crypto for cash depends on the exchange's spread, trading fees and network fees, so the amount that reaches your account is usually a little lower than the converter shows. Turning crypto into dollars means selling it on an exchange or broker and withdrawing to a bank.
