Crypto Profit Calculator
Enter a buy price, a sell price and optional fees to get the profit or loss on a crypto trade, the ROI and the break-even price.
How the calculation works
Four numbers, each worked out in one step.
Coins bought
(invested − buy fee) ÷ buy priceHow much of the coin your money bought.
Net proceeds
coins × sell price − sell feeWhat you would receive if you sold now.
Profit and ROI
profit = proceeds − invested
ROI = profit ÷ invested × 100The gain or loss, in dollars and as a percentage.
Break-even price
invested ÷ (coins × (1 − sell fee))The sell price at which fees are covered and nothing is lost.
About this page
The crypto profit calculator works out the result of a trade in one step. Enter the amount invested or the number of coins, a buy price and a sell price, which starts at the coin's live price, and add optional buy and sell fees as a percentage of each trade. It returns profit in dollars, ROI, the final sale value and the break-even price.
Coins bought are the amount invested minus the buy fee, divided by the buy price. Profit is the sale value after the sell fee minus the amount invested, and ROI is that profit divided by the amount invested. The break-even price is the sell price where fees are covered and nothing is lost. A chart and table show the result at other sell prices.
Coin prices come from Binance, OKX and Coinbase, with DefiLlama for coins they do not list, and refresh every 5 minutes. The calculator works for real trades and for what-if sums on any coin in the picker. It shows the trading result before tax; in the US, crypto gains are taxed as capital gains.
Questions

Take the sale value, subtract the sell fee, then subtract the amount invested. Buy and sell fees are optional here, each entered as a percentage of the trade.
The sell price at which profit is zero. It equals the amount invested divided by the number of coins times one minus the sell fee.
The live price of the coin chosen in the picker. You can type any other sell price in its place.
No. It shows the result before tax. In the US, crypto gains are taxed as capital gains, and the rate depends on how long you held the coin and your income.
A bar splits the sale value into the money back, the fees and the profit. A line-by-line breakdown sits next to it, and a table gives the profit at other sell prices.
