Crypto regulation and how we rank in Turkey
Turkish residents may legally buy, sell and hold crypto. Law No. 7518 of 26 June 2024 amended Capital Markets Law No. 6362 and put crypto asset service providers under the Capital Markets Board (SPK/CMB): a provider needs SPK permission to set up and operate (Art. 35/B). A platform based abroad that serves Turkish residents without it, for example through a Turkish-language site or local marketing, is treated as unauthorised (Art. 99/A), and the penalty is 3 to 5 years in prison (Art. 109/A). SPK keeps a provisional list of providers that declared they will operate (52 entries, including 9 custodians) and a separate list of firms winding down. It states the first list does not mean those firms are authorised.
Each platform gets a score from 0 to 10. Access and the local licence carry the most weight; security, fees, the range of coins and products, the number of ratings of its app in the local App Store and the quality of the data make up the rest. Only official sources are used: the platforms' own terms and the regulator's public register. A dash means we could not verify a value.

These platforms exclude residents of Turkey in their own terms, or the regulator has barred them. They are listed for reference only, without ranks or sign-up links. Using a VPN or false details to get around a restriction breaks the platform's terms and can end with a frozen account.
