About this page

There are many different types of cryptocurrency, and grouping them by what they do makes the market easier to read. This page sorts coins into sectors: Layer 1 networks, Layer 2 rollups, stablecoins, exchange tokens, DeFi, real-world assets (RWA), AI, oracles, DePIN, gaming, privacy coins and memecoins. Each sector card shows its market cap, 24-hour and 7-day change, trading volume and number of coins.

The table ranks every category by market cap, and the tabs re-sort the cards by trend, top gainers, top losers or volume. Open a sector to see the coins inside it. Sectors overlap: one coin can belong to several, as Chainlink sits in both DeFi and oracles, so the sector market caps add up to more than the whole market.

Sector market caps come from CoinGecko categories and refresh every hour. The history behind each chart is built from the prices of the sector's coins, sourced from DefiLlama, and the list of coins in each sector is rebuilt every 10 days. Small sectors such as gaming or AI can move far more in a day than the market as a whole.
