About Reserve Rights
RSR is an ERC-20 token that holders use to govern Reserve's stablecoins by proposing and voting on changes to their setup. Reserve is a platform that lets anyone create asset-backed, yield-bearing stablecoins called RTokens.
The RSR token launched in May 2019 after an initial exchange offering, a token sale held on the Huobi Prime platform. According to Reserve, holders can stake their tokens on RTokens to back them as first-loss capital, money that takes losses before other backers do.
