Rocket Pool is a decentralized finance protocol in the liquid staking category, and a staking option on Ethereum. People who stake ether through the protocol receive rETH.

The protocol works through node operators, who bond both ETH and RPL. Its own token is called RPL. As of 2026, node operators earn a commission.
