How the network works, what it is used for and its main tokens.
Sui is a blockchain with delegated proof of stake, where validators secure the network. Mysten Labs created it, and its native coin is SUI. People use Sui for games and consumer apps, which benefit from the network's low latency. It does not run the Ethereum Virtual Machine, a common environment for blockchain programs, and uses Move for writing apps. It also offers zkLogin for easier account access.
Its object model treats data as separate items rather than one shared ledger, letting many transactions run at once. SUI pays network fees, and those fees go into a storage fund that later pays validators to store data. Holders can stake SUI to support validators and earn rewards. According to its developers, Sui was built to remove technical barriers so Web3 applications can reach global adoption.

Short answers to what people ask most.
SUI is the native coin, used to pay transaction fees and in on-chain applications such as decentralized exchanges and lending platforms.
Yes, people who hold SUI can help decide the network's rules and later changes to the protocol by casting votes.
As Sui grows, it scales horizontally, meaning it adds capacity so transaction speeds stay high and fees stay steady.
