About Portal

Portal lets people move assets between Ethereum, Solana and Sui. It is the token bridge that Wormhole offers, and Wormhole is a cross-chain messaging protocol that carries data and tokens between different blockchains.

Wormhole uses more than one verification method to check the integrity of the data sent through its network, and W is the governance token of Wormhole, so its holders vote on Wormhole and its guardian network. Deposits are taken on more than 10 chains, most of them on Ethereum, as of 2026.
