The event runs from 4 to 25 November
Trading begins on 4 November at 00:00 UTC and ends on 25 November at 23:59 UTC. Users may register before or during the event if their accounts meet the local eligibility rules.

The competition is open in Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Participants must also have access to Coinbase Advanced perpetual futures through the relevant broker entity.
The 100 USDC rule measures trading volume
A participant must complete at least 100 USDC in qualifying perpetual-futures trading volume. It is not a required deposit and it is not a profit target. The designated trades are executed on the Deribit exchange.
Normal fees, spreads and funding payments still apply. A trader can lose money even while meeting the volume rule, especially when leverage makes a small price movement more important.
| Competition detail | Confirmed rule |

| Trading period | 4-25 November 2026 |
| Starting pool | 100,000 USDC |
| Maximum pool | 2,000,000 USDC, subject to volume thresholds |
| Minimum eligible volume | 100 USDC |
| Leaderboards | Profit, percentage return and volume |
Three leaderboards use different measures
The tables rank trading profit, percentage return and total qualifying volume. The top three in each category receive the largest awards, while places four through one hundred share the remaining prizes under the published rules.
United States users cannot enter the volume leaderboard. Coinbase will verify accounts and activity before paying prizes, and a trader can be disqualified if the trades break the competition or market rules.

The prize pool can grow but is not guaranteed
The pool starts at 100,000 USDC and rises when total eligible trading volume passes set levels. Two million USDC is the maximum, not the amount available on the first day.
The online event follows an in-person Coinbase Champions contest held in Singapore on 8 October. Ten invited traders competed for 125,000 USDC, and Coinbase said that event led to the larger global format.
