The Foundation and House of Doge are contributing teams and technology
Dogecoin Labs was formed in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation. The Foundation and House of Doge will transfer intellectual property and development teams to the new company. House of Doge will hold an equity stake in the organisation.

The Dogecoin Foundation will continue its separate role in open-source development, advocacy and stewardship of the wider ecosystem. Dogecoin Labs does not run the Dogecoin blockchain and cannot decide who mines, operates a node or builds software for the public network.
MyDoge V3 connects a wallet audience with applications
MyDoge reports more than 500,000 users and says it reached that figure without paid acquisition. Its V3 release has begun rolling out and connects the wallet with applications being built on DogeOS. Users still control their wallet, while the new version adds a route into the application layer.
The launch announcement does not say how many of those wallet users are active or how many have used a DogeOS application. The confirmed facts are that MyDoge V3 is live and that the wallet provides Dogecoin Labs with an existing consumer product.
DogeOS is live as a public test network
DogeOS opened its public testnet on September 30. It gives developers an EVM-compatible environment in which to test applications for trading, payments, games and other services using test DOGE. It is not a Dogecoin mainnet replacement and its application network is not yet described as a finished public mainnet.
The public testnet lets teams deploy software and gather feedback. A proposed link that would allow the Dogecoin network to verify proofs from DogeOS remains under development, so reporting should distinguish the available test environment from future security and mainnet plans.
| Product or organisation | Current status |
|---|---|
| MyDoge V3 | Released; wallet reports more than 500,000 users |
| DogeOS | Public testnet live since September 30, 2026 |
| Such App | Beta supports invoices and in-person QR payments |
| Such App and DogeOS integration | Planned, not yet live |
| Dogecoin Labs | Independent commercial organisation led by Jordan Jefferson |
| Dogecoin Foundation | Continues stewardship, advocacy and open-source support |
Such App already supports invoices and in-person QR payments
Such App is a merchant payment service, not a social network. Its beta can already create invoices and accept in-person DOGE payments through QR codes. These are existing functions aimed at businesses that want a simple way to request and record payments.
Integration between Such App and DogeOS is planned but is not live yet. The intended connection would link merchants with applications built on DogeOS. Until that work is released, the payment beta and the application testnet should be treated as separate products.

The new company will build commercial products
Dogecoin Labs plans to develop wallets, payment tools, commerce products and application infrastructure. Bringing the three teams together can reduce repeated engineering work, but the announcement itself does not guarantee adoption or a launch date for every planned feature.
The division of responsibility is clear: the Foundation continues non-profit stewardship and open development, while Dogecoin Labs develops commercial products. Progress can be measured through MyDoge usage, DogeOS releases and merchant use of Such App, rather than through control of the underlying blockchain.
